JTSD’s Going Green Team has organized a fall Service Day on Monday, November 3rd. They have identified several jobs that are specific to JTSD volunteers, but also can use our help assisting all of the classrooms with their tasks as well. Mrs. Witherspoon is our coordinator for the day. She will assist volunteers and can answer any questions. This is an ALL DAY event, starting at 8:40 am. I am assuming PTO can finish most of our work within a few hours, but might be needed to help with classroom activities at later times.

We can add some notes, suggestions, or names in the boxes where “PTO Volunteers:” appears. If you have specific tools you can bring, make a note of that. I see that we will need weed eaters, hedge trimmers, and shovels for sure. Possibly need a drill and some lumber for the compost organizer. Please note that this is a living document, so additional tasks may be added, and details may change!
